Clifford is the founder of Dumaine Investments. Clifford co-founded Delta Financial Advisors, LLC (DFA) in 2002. In addition to servicing a broad portfolio of clients, Clifford served as DFA’s Chief Investment Officer for over 16 years. Preceding his work at DFA, he was a portfolio manager with Fenner, Plauché and Williams Investment Management Company (FPWIMC). Prior to his tenure at FPWIMC, Clifford spent 9 years as a financial analyst in the banking and telecommunications industries.
Clifford also has more than 20 years of experience in real estate management and investing. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Louisiana (CFALA), along with other professional and civic organizations, and is a past president and board member of the CFALA. Clifford has long been involved in the charter school movement and served for many years as both a board member and Treasurer of KIPP New Orleans.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College and his Master of Business Administration degree from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Additionally, Clifford is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Financial Planner™.
