Having over 10 years of experience in the asset management industry, Mitchell helps manage Dumaine’s investment strategies and client portfolios. Before joining Dumaine, Mitchell worked as the Director of Business Development and a Portfolio Manager for a New Orleans area wealth management firm. In addition to advising his clients and managing their assets, Mitchell oversaw all marketing efforts and client acquisition. Prior to this position, he was a Senior Financial Advisor at Hancock Whitney Bank.
Mitchell is a graduate of Holy Cross High School and The University of Southern Mississippi where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He also holds the CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Financial Planner™.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the current president of the CFA Society of Louisiana. Outside of the office, Mitchell enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He is also an active volunteer for the Louisiana Youth Seminar and serves as the current President of the Elmwood Park Civic Association.
